How long after the ship's arrival time do you tell the tour company to pick you up?

The ship arrives in port at 8am and we want to have as much time as possible. I believe the ship will dock and we will not be tendering (port of Izmir, Turkey).

If you're not tendering and not having to go through immigaration[such as St Petersberg ]then there's nothing to stop you being one of the first off the ship-your private guide will probably be monitoring the ships arrival and will be there waiting for you-that's been my experience with private guides so far
