Vista Suite vs Penthouse vs Premium Suites

I have had the Vista and Premium on the Grand class and my friend had the Penthouse on the Grand class. The Vista and Premium are aft and in our case, the Premium suite was a little larger. The Penthouse suites are midship which to some, are a more desirable location. The layout is pretty much the same. I did notice that the Vista was a tad smaller and in one place where the PH and PS had a desk, there was just an end table. Some of the aft suites have some obstruction while the PH do not. I am assuming the Diamond has some of the same attributes - I know the Diamond/Sapphire has some front suites and I don't know much about those.

Here are some pics covering the Grand and Golden:

We were upgraded to a PS suite on the Baja deck of the Sapphire but it was in front of the ship. While the suite was nice it would become very windy there. Stay with your Vista Suite. The suite itself was very nice with all of the ammenties bit personally I would prefer to stay in mid-ship or aft.

We are booked in a Premium Suite on the Aft (very Back facing the wake) of the Diamond in May. We almost booked the Front PS, but learned that the cabin layout was a little awkward, and often the balcony doors couldn't be opened due to high winds.

The Front Suites were bigger square-footage wise, but mainly b/c the balconies (albeit not to usuable!) are so big.

If you call Princess, they will tell you the Sqft of each cabin. My understanding was that PS & VS are almost identical, but price difference b/c PS location is a little better...We will see!!

The Diamond is AWESOME - you will love it!!:)
