Self serve Laundry in Alaska

Has anyone been on Princess this year to Alaska ( inside passage) and have the passenger self service laundrys been open? Or do you have to send out your clothes for Princess to do?

They were open on the Sapphire 2 weeks ago.

They were open on the Golden.

They were closed on the Sea princess last year for 2-3 days while we were in Alaskan waters.

Does Princess offer laundry and dry cleaning service on the Island Princess in Alaska? After my land portion of my trip I may need some clothes done and I don't want to spend vacation time doing it. Depending of the $$ of course. Do they also offer pressing service only? Suits can get messed up during the trip there.

Princess offers laundry services on all their ships.

They were closed at times, but had regular hours. They try to limit gray water the day before, day of, and day after going to glacier bay due to regulations about dumping in a protected area. So the self laundry was closed during that period. Self laundry usually had a line and the driers were incredibly slow, took several hours.

I think they lock some of them late at night if it might cause noise for the rooms nearby.

Last year in August..ten day cruise..

Laundry Room closed two days in a row,

open the rest.

Don't remember their hours of operatin.

I did laundry on the Coral last week on a sea day. $2.00 for wash and $2.00 for the dryer. The ship will do your pressing for %50 of the cleaning price.
