The cruise countdown I see showing right under your post

indicates that you'll be on Carnival DESTINY from July 18th. on.

 

 

Carnival Destiny doesn't normally frequent our waters

although it's possible you may have booked a special cruise of some sort

that brings Destiny to Barbados.

 

Most likely you'll be approaching Barbados (a single, stand-alone island) from the North.

 

Your view of the island should be much like this...

 

Barbados is a rather flat island, so there isn't a lot to see from offshore

but you'd want to be on the Port/left side of the ship, if you have a choice.

 

 

Coming into Port here, things will look at bit more like this...

Thanks for the photos, you are always so helpful and great photos here as usual. Can you tell me if Harrison caves are "worth" a viewing? Will be us late 40's,18,20 and we haven't been to a cave in many,many years. We will be cruising March 2012
