bora bora overnight?

Has anyone left the ship and stayed at a hotel overnight in Bora Bora?

I am considering this for next May at the Hilton if I can use points.

The ship has an overnight at the Thalosso. Were you planning to stay at the Nui? I hear its a lovely property.

 

You will just have to tell them that you wont be coming back until the next day and it shouldnt be a problem.

I can understand someone wanting to stay in one of these hotels just for the experience, but I don't understand paying to do so during the cruise, even with points, since the ship itself is so delightful. Why not a pre-cruise in Moorea instead? If it's the Nui, have a look at the map, and note the fact that the hotel faces out onto the ocean, so don't expect any views back to Bora Bora. Views of BB from out on the motus is definitely something I would look for if I was staying on a hotel on a motu in BB.
