Inside vs. oceanview

We have had them all over the years. Starting with inside. While inside we never had the joy of seeing the ship arrive into port. At least with an OV you can stand there in your nightwear and enjoy. Balcony was great for those times we want to relax see it all and be alone. To wake up even in the middle of the night and either look out or stand on the balcony to see whatever is a thrill. We have found other ways to save and make up for the difference of pricing. One is to take non sponsored tours. The private ones are much cheaper. Some ports do not require tours at all.

I once surprised my kids and got them a balcony cabin next to ours on the Disney Magic rather than their inside and it was a pricey upgrade. imagine my surprise when they asked for the next sailing if they could please go back to an inside for our next cruise!

They just lve the coziness and it remaining dark if they want to sleep in.
