On the FOS now and Espen Been is still the captian. Seems like a nice guy and boy! does he impress us with his docking skills!!!

But just a comment - his accent makes it a bit difficult for us (my husband and our friends) to catch his announcements.

I do believe that the sound system plays a role in that.

But as long as he sails safely, that's all that matters to us!

it didn't change, I forgot to manually change the entry. I can't change it on the Excel program because I'm afraid of messing up Theron's work!

Empress of the Seas sailings were cancellled up until the April 24th sailing. We are on the April 30th sailing. Any word on who the Captain will be?

With the addition of Ovation, Empress, and Harmony in a one month period the Royal Caribbean fleet is now larger than it's ever been. Could the reason we don't know Empress' captain's be that she is keeping her Pulmantur captain or captains? Their already under contract by Royal Caribbean and that fleet is now one ship smaller.

I posted on this thread back on the 5th January that Andre, the staff captain of Serenade had been appointed Captain but at that time did not know which ship he was going to command. I have not noticed his name appear anywhere.

he's not on the chart because nobody has posted what ship he's master on. And staff captains can be temporarily promoted to master then go back to staff captain once the need for another master is over.

Don't know, nobody has told me when he started on Freedom. But if he started anytime in March, then yes, Capt Rob will still be on June 11

sorry Carol, just got the confirmed start date and Capt Rob will be going home June 4. So your friends will have Capt Kristoffersen....unless they work a longer than 10 week rotation.
