if Capt Toni works a 10 week rotation, he'll go home July 3rd. Then Capt Espen would be back July 3rd. I'm assuming it's Capt Ron that went to another ship (or retired).

thank you for the info. He will overlap with Capt Been April 17 then on April 24 Capt Been will go on vacation and Capt Toni will be running the show by himself. Looking forward to meeting him on my May 8th FR cruise!

Or was it the other way around? Either way, are any of these confirmed?

As I can figure out, it won't be Capt. Dimas that will sail with us on Oct. 17th.

That's what I figured too. Wondering if anyone knows if Capt Tor is onboard. We sail April 8th and look forward to seeing him.

At some point the other captain will have to work longer to even it out. As long as both captains work 6 months on 6 months off. The other captain doesn't have to give it back all in one shot...he could work 11 week rotations instead of the 10.

I agree, I have not seen him on the rotation and I was just on the Rhapsody recently and the other Captain was Captain Hempstead

who has moved to the Oasis I think ( March 2016 ) .

 

He might be a former Staff Captain unless someone knows different ?

Had the pleasure of meeting and enjoying lunch last August with Captain Ron Holmes last August on Freedom. Was looking forward to cruising with him again in July. So no one knows whether he is being transferred or retired. Very impressed with him and know the crew really loved working with him!

yes, it's my understanding he's a newly promoted staff captain. However, he could be a master from Pullmantur like Capt Angel Oviol

When we were on OA in January, we were told it was Rob Hempstead, coming from RH. I don't know if he actually made the switch, however.
