It's 11 pm and I have to get up at 3:30 am to leave for the airport. I will be gone until Sunday, dealing with mother issues in Canada.

Good luck with your Mom, doing some of that in our family too.

I swear I keep hearing him and the staff referring to the Capt of Allure as "Capt Tor". Not Ron

 

 

It should currently be Tore Grimstad (not Tor) on Allure. I trust he followed Captain Johnny as it was his turn within the standard rotation schedule. Captain Ron should come June/July instead of Johnny.

Confirming Captain Erik Standahl is now Master on Anthem. Since it does not appear to be reported previously I assume he started rotation June 2.

 

Oops, I see it has been reported for the last cruise.

It will be unknown for a while (Unless they find out and tell someone) where they are going, but they will more than likely just be assigned another ship and fall into a rotation.

 

With more ships being built, captain retirements, etc they will no doubt find a hole for them easily somewhere.

He was one of our favorite Captains also. I think he is currently in Norway awaiting the birth of their grand child (second I think).

He was forced into retirement. He was only on Liberty for a month when she rubbed the bottom of some river in Europe and the staff captain had to report him. So RCI, needing space to promote, told him retire or fire.

We just disembarked the ALLURE on Sunday! Had the pleasure to be at several events with Captain Tore Grimstad. He's been aboard AL for 2 weeks. Known him for years.

Erik Standal from Norway on AN now for approx 6 weeks? Definitely a fluid situation and who knows for sure what will happen...

 

Donna, you may have picked up bad information from me (sorry). Seatravelers reported Captain Erik was on Board Anthem May 30 so his start date must have been sometime in May.
