Unfortunately, there are instances where a Captain has no choice and must go where he is told to go.

 

he could also just be temporarily assigned to MJ, just to help out until a regular master (probably a new promotion for some staff captain) gets there

Captain Trond Holm is on Grandeur now and made the decision for us to leave Bermuda at noon rather than 2 PM due to TS Colin! We're rocking and rolling a little but it's fine!!! Only supposed to get to 15 foot seas tonight!

I did see that post. But I know captain Henrik's new home is Anthem. He was with Quantum

Post 3602 shows Captain Henrik on Anthem currently in rotation with Captain Erik Standahl.

 

Word was that Captain Srecko was coming to Anthem to rotate with Captain Henrik. Guess that changed and he is going to Allure.

What was the final word on Captain Claus Andersen? Never heard anything out of that.

 

If Captain Claus Andersen has been dismissed from Royal Caribbean, after being praised by the President of the line, Michael Bayley, and the U.S. Coast Guard had an open statement of what he did in the wake of the storm, then everyone from the company has been lying to us.

 

If someone will ask mbayley@rccl.com for a true statement, maybe we could all find out the true status.

 

For reasons I keep to myself, I cannot write or get an honest answer at this time, from corporate.

 

I know some captains that are now working for other companies, and I choose to travel with them. I pray that Claus is still onboard with Royal Caribbean.

What happened to the Captain from the Liberty of the Seas from last year? He lived in Germany but was Venezuelan.

Just wondering after reading above -- is the below not accurate?

 

A little birdie told me that Captain Claus was going to Quantum mid to end of next month.
