rolosmum Posted July 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2011 We are going on a med cruise and wondering what peoples children do about carrying their sea pass card with them to make sure it is safe etc, is there something in the uk that you can buy? Any suggestions gratefully received.
paul929207 Posted July 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2011 A lanyard makes them hard to lose. Tuck it inside your shirt in port.
cb at sea Posted July 11, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2011 It the kids are too young to wander about on their own, they have no need to personally carry them....YOU will keep them with you! If they are older kids who will be "out and about" without you, then a lanyard (neck strap) is a good way...or a pocket in their shorts for guys or a small purse for girls. So to stick it on a lanyard i am guessing you will need to punch a hole in it. thanks

Rare cruisemom42 Posted July 11, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 11, 2011 They are also happy to do it in the shops, especially if you purchase your lanyard there. ;) (But will do it even if you don't.)
Treven Posted July 11, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 11, 2011 While I'm not a youngster :p, this senior citizen has mine on a lanyard too; making sure it doesn't get lost. I certainly agree, your young youngsters don't need to carry theirs  - you should have them.[ I've always gotten my sea pass punched at the pursers desk. They usually have someone on the side doing just that./COLOR]

My children are nearly 13 and 9, so there will be times that they will want to get a soda and although we have paid for the soda package i am assuming that the sea pass will be the method to prove this and not all of the time will they be with us. When we are with them we will carry them, but my 9 year old drinks like a fish and i do not plan on spending my whole holiday camped by the kids club or escorting her to get a drink and my 13 year old may want to swim on his own.
