phoenix_dream Posted July 16, 2011 #26 Share Posted July 16, 2011 Have a great time! It blows my mind that she chose Carnival for 'a more relaxed time' as Celebrity clearly leads on that regard, but it sounds like she got a good overview of both ships and the decision is hers. You're a good daughter:D

You're a good daughter:D Good morning....I was thinking the exact same thing. So many people use the words "sedate and/or boring"....;) for Celebrity and I think of "relaxed and laid back":). stargate fan Posted July 16, 2011 Author #28 Share Posted July 16, 2011 Have a great time! It blows my mind that she chose Carnival for 'a more relaxed time' as Celebrity clearly leads on that regard, but it sounds like she got a good overview of both ships and the decision is hers. You're a good daughter:D I was also surprised. Hopefully she will be as happy as DH and I have been on our other Carnival cruises. Thanks. :D Losing my dad, of Blessed name, two days before their 52nd anniversary last August, has really taken a toll on her. If I can lessen some of her pain in a four-night cruise, it's the least I can do.
cynbar Posted July 16, 2011 #29 Share Posted July 16, 2011 Best wishes to you both for a wonderful cruise! As long as you and your Mom are together, it can't help but be great, no matter which ship you are on.
