Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan

To those of you who have done this...do I really need to buy tickets for this show beforehand, or will I be able to walk up and get tickets the day of the show. We'll be in Ketchikan in August.

Unless something unusual happens you should have no trouble getting walk-up tickets....a bit touristy but many like it.

..We booked the Totem Pole and Lumberjack show thru Princess. Are both the Totem Pole Park and Lumberjack show within walking? If so, we may canx and just do it on our own.

You can walk over to the Lumberjack show and decide if it appeals to you. It is corny. Some folks like it.

There are at least totem parks in Ketchikan, the Totem Heritage Center is walkable, Totem Bight and Saxman Village are not...but can be accessed by municipal transit.

No need to pay Princess a markup for something you can walk to very easily walk to and book yourself.

Definitely walk up, and our grandsons (6 and 4) loved it last year and still talk about it.

Good point, I can see how youngsters would enjoy this.

For those of us who know the difference between logger sports and showmanship....well what can I say...it's entertainment.
