Has Anyone Ever Had Flowers Dilivered to the Ship

I was wondering If I could have some flowers delivered to my stateroom from as shore based florist. I'm sailing out of New Orleans on the Voyager in March 2012 and the flowers that the ship offers are not what I would like.

 

Does anyone know if I can have a local florist provide the flowers or do I have to go with what the ship offers?

I don't think they allow any outside deliveries any more...but you can take your own flowers onboard...just won't be able to bring them off when you get home...

Don't have an answer as we've always ordered the ship's flowers, but you might try over on the Wedding board for more answers.

On our sailing to Hawaii (Golden Princess), we stopped in the Big Island and saw a flower vendor at the port. The flowers were simply stunning and we decided to order a small arrangement. It was inside our cabin when we got back from our shor excursion. As one posted, we were unable to take it with us. Hopefully, the next passengers enjoyed the flowers as much as we did...or the cabin steward may have removed them from the cabin...we don't know. We wanted to take them home...:)
