Would I like Allure?

We will be on Allure in a little over three weeks. When Oasis the sister ship was being built I said "no way would I EVER go on a ship that big". Well since Celebrity has no ships in the caribbean in September we are tryig the Allure. I have read mostly positive reviews. At this point we cruise mainly for the ship and the ports are a bonus since we have been to most of these ports. I LOVED the Equinox and can't wait to go back on her. The only thing I missed on the Equinox was the nightlife and the shows. I can't wait to see Chicago, Blue Planet and the Aqua Theater and ice shows on Allure. Wanda

We enjoyed lot of entertainment on Allure. Chicago was excellent, Aqua Theater was okay. It got cancel at least once due to waves (high risk for the high divers), ice show was okay,I forget other production show. Maybe it was called Blue Planet. If it involved the gymnsts and the tree, it was great! Also, the comedy club was very good, the music at nights was very good and there were other things happening. We like to donate money to the casino, so we did that most nights too. :)

 

We sailed Freedom of Seas and thought it was too big, so when sailing Allure, the DW was not sure, but we had a great time. We both would sail on Allure again in a minute. I personally would choose Allure over Oasis due to the changes they made to Allure also.

Miss Jolly - thanks maybe one day my partner can talk me into it- as he is so curious about such a big ship... ! I am the one who always hesitates.. LOL.
