Meanee Posted September 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2011 We are sailing on Allure of the Seas on September 25. I already checked in, have sailpass printed. But I still do not have stateroom assigned. Previous cruise (Oasis of the Seas), I had stateroom assigned 3-4 days after I booked. And now, few weeks before sailing, still no stateroom. Is this a common thing? Anything I should be worried about?
Jimbo Posted September 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Nothing to worry about besides a nice upgrade, the longer they wait the better chance you have at a larger cabin as far as i see it. Good Luck Jimbo:)
wrp96 Posted September 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2011 With a guarantee, while many times they do assign cabins in advance, sometimes you don't find out until you get to the pier. Nothing abnormal or wrong with that. No worries.:)
Meanee Posted September 8, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Just checked again. Received a Boardwalk balcony room, Deck 14. Not a bad deal, for the Interior room price.

Starry Eyes Posted September 8, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Just checked again. Received a Boardwalk balcony room, Deck 14. Not a bad deal, for the Interior room price. Excellent. Wasn't that upgrade worth the wait?
Meanee Posted September 10, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Excellent. Wasn't that upgrade worth the wait? Lol that wasn't much of a wait. This is my second cruise ever, and I thought it was weird. But it was a very pleasant surprise. Does this happen often?
SUZCRUZ Posted September 10, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Lol that wasn't much of a wait. This is my second cruise ever, and I thought it was weird. But it was a very pleasant surprise. Does this happen often? This could be a bad very bad thing. You've been bitten by the balcony bug. It might be very hard to go back to anything but for future cruises. ENJOY!!!
