wowzz Posted April 5, 2018 #51 Share Posted April 5, 2018 We would reiterate that yesterday, a poster resurrected this thread which dates from 2011! While the topic is still relevant, debating a poster who may not have been here (on CC) for 7 years makes little sense :). Hank Agreed - it would make sense for threads dormant for, say 3 years, to be locked. Sent from my SM-T580 using Forums mobile app

Sent from my SM-T580 using Forums mobile app I'd go a step further and maybe have older threads go away altogether - it's somewhat frustrating to have a thread with information that outdated and/or no longer relevant come up with a search while one is researching. donaldsc Posted April 5, 2018 #53 Share Posted April 5, 2018 Read sections 7c and 7d of the cruise contract that you agree to when you book your cruise https://www.carnival.com/about-carnival/legal-notice/ticket-contract.aspx That is why. They don't want to because unhappy customers are bad for business but that is their legal coverage. DON
SPacificbound Posted April 6, 2018 #54 Share Posted April 6, 2018 We have never been on a Carnival cruise but I can assure you we have been on cruises where we did not get into some ports. It happens...weather, seas too risky to get in, something going on in the port like a strike or demonstration, etc. But I have never felt the Captain was just arbitrarily skipping a oort.
