I would of thought NCL would be better off with reusing a name of a past ship as other posts on this thread have suggested. Norway, Sea, Dream (a ship in limbo somewhere...it's complicated), Wind, Crown, Majesty or Dynasty. It seems that the current NCL leadership only wants new names that are unusual where a surcharge can apply to things that were included in the past. Good Luck.... Change is not always a good thing.

coaster - for the record surcharges have been a part of NCL since at least 1988. The Seaward was the first modern cruise ship with a pay restaurant. In 1988 The Palm Tree (now the Bistro) was $35 pp plus wine or drinks. Sprinkles soft serve ice cream poolside was pay per serving.

I still think they needed new names that reflected a new class of ships. Like many have said over and over they could have done better then the names they selected.
