Floating fish & veggie market in Aruba ?

In Curacao I went to a colorful fish, veggie and fruit market. In Willemstaad on the Waaigat Canal there are small boats that come in from Venezuela and other small islands that sell the tropical foods and crafts. Next to the floating market they have a modern set up to sell their wares also. It was a colorful and fun place to visit and take pictures. I am sailing on the Emerald 11/8/11 and we stop in Aruba. I can't find any information if they have the same set up in Aruba. If you have found one in Oranjestad , I would love to have more info and directions. Thanks !

We saw nothing like this when we were in Aruba.

As for bringing "stuff" on board, do you mean fresh fish? - NO

Do you mean fruits? YES

When you arrive back in the states, you cannot bring any fruits, vegatables, flowers off the ship.

i know at night time there are "flea market" type booths.

(in the palm beach area they start about 6pm.) very nice hand made jewlery for cheap too.

(I know we cant take food home off a cruise-- I was wondering if you could take a local food to the ship and eat it before you got off)
