Lattidues Member Checking In for Cruise

If you are a Lattidues member do you have to show anything special to get into the lattidues check in line?

This will be our 3rd cruise on NCL and I realize now we could have done that on our last cruise but didn't. So not sure what we will need to do upon arrival at the port of New Orleans on Oct 16th.

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help on this question.

Your edocs have your Latitudes level and number on them, so no need for anything additional. Sometimes the Latitudes line is longer than the ordinary check in line, so the Latitudes check in often isn't a real advantage.

Thanks so much, yes I see that now.

It seems every port has a different set up for this.

Examples of lines that may be marked using a labeled vertical flag.

Everyone – always

Suite guests – always

Other choices that may be available

Latitudes: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum – in any combinations

CAS guests

There also may be ones separate for Balconies and/or mini-suites

We actually could have went in any of 4 line ups. So just pick whichever line that applies to you that is the shortest.

We may have had to have our edocs out to show the one that was helping direct people, but I can’t really remember.

and I do wear glasses, but how do you become a latitudes member, and wht bennies do you get out of it? We are going on our 2nd NCL cruise in March. Just curious. Thanks

You are given a latitudes number when you sail NCL automatically. There are 4 tiers to their latitudes program (something of a customer return incentive program)

Not a really big deal, but a little something to say thanks for returning and NCL will sometimes have promotions on where at certain levels of latitudes and cabin choice you get OBC.

Here are the benefits

As for NOLA, they have a few different lines to get in and they are clearly marked for the latitudes members. There is also someone standing there to direct you into the latitude members line. However, it seemed like every line was very quick and efficient. They get you going and fast. It was quite pleasant. :)

Boarding the Star in San Pedro for Panama passage, the Latitudes lines were much longer than others. The reason became clear when we had the Latitudes general reception. More than half the passengers on that cruise were Latitude members. The party for Silver Latitudes jammed the main midships dining room.

Thanks mitsugirly, we are sailing out of NOLA same ship as you took and by the way did you all take a taxi or shuttle from the airport? Thanks so much and enjoy your photos and rewiew of your cruise.

WoW!!!!! if that be the case for us, then we just might get in the regular line.
