Anyone who be going on the Jewel for New England/Canada cruise here is the webcam for Pier 21 in Halifax, where the Jewel is docked today.

That literally just made me flail my arms in excitement! LOL! I thought 15 days was exciting! haha

There is a lobster in the lobster pot! I have never seen a lobster on that cam, only starfish.

Not there now. I know it is not an active trap but I wonder how long the pot has been sitting there? It looks like it is starting to accumulate silt. Cool cam.

 

Edit..justed looked again and it looks like there is a crab in there.

When we were in Halifax on the Jewel last week, the Explorer was "parked" there where the webcam is situated! We had to dock on down the way a bit at a secured pier, and therefore weren't permitted to just walk on and off the ship at our liesure. RCCL provided a shuttle bus down to Pier 22. Worked out fine, but it was just surprising.
