First time cruiser, Thanksgiving week.

I will be sailing for the first time Thanksgiving week aboard the Carnival Sensation to the Bahamas. I will be accompanied by my daughter and two grandchildren. What will be weather be like. Have read some excellent tips already on this board.

November weather for the Bahamas has an average high of 81.90°F, low of 70.90°F, and 2.63 inches of rain. Percent of days with rain 25.8%. You will be at the end of hurricane season.

You should usually expect it to be swimsuit weather but Bahamas can get chilly same as Florida. No one can predict rain or smooth/rough seas but hopefully you should have 'summer weather' with calm seas.

the water can be to cold to swim in for very long thats all i remember about our thanksgiving in the bahamas a few years ago

Before children (expensive little things), we used to spend Thanksgiving day on a beach somewhere. Week long scuba trips, in the Caribbean. We were always lucky with the weather, and never needed wetsuits.
