NCL Freestyle vs Non-Freestyle

Great review! I always tell people that the very thing I like most about NCL ... Freestyle Dining with virtually no dress code ... is something they may find that they don't like. I've talked to more than one cruiser who didn't think it would bother them until they tried it, and then they found they miss the formal nights a lot.

Studio cabins are marketed to solo cruisers (some of whom might be pleased to have a bigger bed for various reasons), but the studios are not limited to solo cruisers. Couples can book them. To keep the studios as appealing as possible to as many people as possible, I suspect they will keep the bigger beds.

I am glad formal nights are optional on NCL. I do not like packing formal wear. I like to pack light. DH does not like to wear a suit on vacation. I can appreciate that others like to dress up.
