Wow, a totally smoke free casino (Celebrity) I'll have to remember that. Is it also totally empty?

They stay pretty busy -- of course most everyone who books with Celebrity is well aware of the smoking restrictions. Sure, they lost some cruisers as a result -- but, no doubt, gained others. The world is changing, and I am glad that they were willing to take that risk!

Both NCL and Celebrity attract higher level players to their ships than Carnival. Strolling around and seeing the table maximums at a few tables will help you realize that. Carnival's highest limit table is a $25/$500 (min/max). Both NCL and Celebrity have $50 and $100 minimum tables, with max between $1,000 and $2,000. Not that I am going to push those limits, but there are almost always a few people who play heavy. Probably the biggest reason for that is their players clubs. Both NCL and Celebrity offer several free cruises for players each year, and often nice amounts off cabins on any other sail date. For our Alaskan cruise this summer, NCL (actually CAS - their players club) gave me thousands off... hard to resist!
