Your favorite things about sailing with Carnival!

Often times, people are only motivated by the things that upset them to have a voice. I thought it would be great to have a thread filled with the reasons we all love cruising with Carnival!

I'll start!

1.) You can't beat the price for the value

2.) More often than not, they have the ports of call I want to visit on the ships I want to sail on.

3.) The staff almost always goes out of their way to talk to us and we have gotten to know some amazing crew members.

4.) I really love the adult scavenger hunt. It's always one of the highlights of the cruise for me.

5.) In my experience, the passengers on Carnival are more likely to become friends with strangers. We always leave with friends for life.

6.) They have awesome board games in the library! Haha.

7.) Looking up at the whale tail always makes me happy!

I don't know what else is Carnival specific for me.. I need to think more!

I LOVE your third photo from the left-- is that a carnival photo??

This one?

BT-103-web.jpg

This image was taken during my Carnival Miracle sailing in November of 2010. We made a stop in Curacao and did a land tour where we were taken to this amazing place called "Boca Tabla". The water rushes up the rocks there. Pretty phenomenal experience.

I took the photo! Thanks!

My favorites:

1. Sitting on the balcony early in the morning with my cup

of tea and watching for my first glimpse as we sail

into port

2. No cooking, cleaning or making my bed

3. All the different venue choices for every meal

4. How happy and friendly everyone is because they are

on vacation

5. Strawberry bisque, stuffed mushrooms, warm melting cake

6. The early comedy shows

What I like about Carnival is;

1. I meet some really nice people, and stay in touch with them after the cruise. Once even met up with one lady on a second cruise.

2. I love the food, and the attentive service of the waiters in the main dining room.

3. The staterooms are larger than others I have had, and the beds very comfortable.

4. I like Carnival ship's casinos, as I have won some nice amounts on three out of five cruises. ( less than 1.000 dollars, but still really nice for me who only plays minimums in slots ).

A little different

1)Warm Melting Chocolate Cake

2) Ships on a Stick

3)The itineraries and price.... we were looking at RC cruises for next May.... they are all practically all going to the same places, Jamaica, Haiti and some other random port. I don't care if I'm on the Oasis/Allure or on the Fantasy... it better be going somewhere I want to go and/or haven't been.

The comforters

The carrot cake at the coffee bar..yummmy

I know this has been mentioned but deserves another kudos, the Staff always with a friendly hello and a smile :)

The diversity of the crew and the guests always makes for a good time.

That's all I can think of now but I'm sure there is plenty more.

Thanks for starting a positive thread ;)

The feeling that at least 90 % of people are there to relax and have fun....service, beds, free room service, easy to find a place to sit and gaze at ocean even from an inside 1A. Good food for big ship affordable dining..the shows, karaoke...reading. free movies in the big lounge or can't wait to see outside, music if ok, mine if not and sleeping at sea.

That there are people just like me - out for a good relaxing time, no stress, no airs, good food, excellent staff, fantastic strangers, reasonable prices, nice beds, buckets of Fosters, serenity deck with box lunches, late night comedy, casino, trivia - sorry, I can just go on and on
