geocruiser Posted November 19, 2011 #79 Share Posted November 19, 2011 There have always been shirts with no collars, (called "mandarin" or "stand-up") shirts, requiring no ties that have been worn with a tuxedo! ;) Gosh, I still have one or two that I wore with my tuxedo, (in the long distant past)! :) My husband wears his tux with a mandarin collar. He wears the shirt with a fancy cystal button clip. It looks great.

Hawaiidan Posted November 19, 2011 #81 Share Posted November 19, 2011 This may come as a suprise but O'l Versace is been dead a long time..... And as a whole was the Howard Sterne of the fashion world... He would be the last guy I would ask what to wear. Too I dont , or have not seen any of the thse Runway styles in any human outside the shows....
