Vancouver Pier to Airport... Transfer or Cab?

Have just spoken to the guys at Yellow Cab.....they say anything from $27 to $30 dollars Canadian from VYR to the Cruise Terminal......if there is a big big traffic jam higher. On the way from Terminal to Airport there is repair to a ramp till at least mid May so taxis have to enter the terminal long route so that will cost $35.........then price will go back down. You have to state that you wont a 'Yellow Cab' at YVR....and there are some(it happened to me once) that take you round the bush and back but Yellow Cab are great....which has the largest fleet...and Black Top Cabs .......being a local gal I know, they have the lowest rates....and know the city and the short cuts...all in Canadian Dollars....you can pay by Credit Card if you wish. :)

Question is...how much of a rush are you to line up at security and immigration at the airport.

If you're making a fashion statement take a limo. Take a taxi as there are loads at the pier.

If you dock at Ballantyne Pier...yes take a cab.

If you dock at Canada Place and don't leave til late and want to spend some time in downtown, why not secure your bags in a locker or at a hotel . Every half hour or so the "YVR" Green airport bus dooes a circuitous route to the d'twn hotels. One way tickets are considerably less than taxis. For more info see the link below:

The airport bus provides service from the Pan Pacific Hotel located right at Canada Place. Hope this helps, and

Ciao for now!!!
