Wanting someone on the 7th floor on the Mariner to let us know if there is still an issue with the sewage smell (cabin 767) is where we get on in Lima on Jan 20th, 2012. Is there an issue right now, Jan 1st ( I think you are in the caribbean)with these cabins near the back on 7th floor? Regent is saying there is no issue. Please help if you are on the ship right now or if you are getting on in Ft. Lauderdale on Jan 6th and check it our for us! Big help as Regent is not moving us even though we had this same problem on our last cruise back in Nov 2011:(

We would so appreciate it! See you when we get on in Lima!!!!!

thanks so much for checking out room 767. I bet you are excited to get on the ship. Only one more day.....thanks again for checking the smell issue out. It's been reported that the cabins aft from the elevators back have the smell issue on the odd numbered side. Thanks again and happy sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale!

Regent reps now report that there's no smell on Mariner. I'd made some inquiries because we're in 763 later in the year. They said yes, they were aware that there HAD been a smell especially in that area of the ship, but that all is fine and dandy now. Would like to believe that's the case. But what CCers say will count more.

Rachel: Wishing you fair winds and seas-- and everything else way above "fair."

I smelt a slight smell of sewage this morning heading up the back stairs on 7 coming out of the gym. we are on eight odd at the back of the ship and haven't smelled anything in the hall. We did have a smell of smoke in our cabin one day but after reporting it they sent an engineer in who fixed it. no idea what the problem was.

We will be on 7 midship on Jan 6—for 72 days. From all reports, I think that all will be OK. There is nothing we can do about this—so we are hoping for the best and looking forward to wonderful sea days and port days. This is our second SA circle with Mariner. It was wonderful the last time!

Are they on the odd side or even on the mariner....someone reported the odd side from the elevators back..worried because we are in 767? Thanks for letting us know....rosewood jo

We just got off Mariner today. We were in 776 and our friends were in 767. No odors on either side. Enjoy your trip.

There are two threads currently. One called "Circumnavigation" and one called "Live from Mariner". Neither report any odours.
