Well you two sure keep this thread amusing, haha.

Just thought I'd say hi since nobody else does.

One more and we can play cards :D

Jeroen

Tell us you are coming on the cruise big guy. With 2000 hits and only a few of us talking I'm not sure what to expect. LOL

SF: I haven't sorted it out. I'm thinking I'm going to priceline something last minute.

A rock hit my brand new windshield on Red Rocket and cracked it this morning. Insert many four letter words here!

LOL... I need a cruise.

Hooray! I think Jeroen is coming on the cruise because I saw him post in the regular roll call. Welcome Jeroen! I'll go find a deck of cards in case we get someone else - of course don't forget AJ. :)

28 Days till we board!

Jeroen, are you cruising solo too?? What are your interests and plans for the cruise and what are you most looking forward to? We have explored our personal ship-board habits so figure it's your turn.

No, I'm going with my best friend, she lives in the US, I'm from Belgium.

Things I look forward to most, it's going to sound lame, but the whole experience of being on a cruise. LOL

That and taking in the view from the balcony and the casino and taking those elevators up and down, lol...

28 days? I gotta start packing. That's like only four weeks away...

Jeroen, what you're looking forward to doesn't sound lame at all. That's what I look forward to, too! Well except for the Casino because I'm not a big gambler...but sitting out on the balcony enjoying the sun and the sea, just being on the ship, and being on a cruise. I love sea days, so I usually try to pick cruises with lots of them...and this is a good one for that.

Plus Hawaii is the icing on the cake.

As for my personal on board habits, don't think I've given away all my secrets...yet. :D

PS - not only are we down to 28 days, but we're up to almost 3000 views on this thread. Chris, has AJ been sneaking in about 2500 times when you haven't been looking?

We just got an upgrade offer from Princess that we turned down but if it had not been for about the $1,750.00 additional $$ it would have cost us that right now we can't spare, we would have done it. It was for a Full PH Suite on the Caribe Deck Midship but we are happy with our Mini Suite that is in the same spot one deck below that. They are checking with people with Min's in good spots to see if they want to upgrade, Hint. Good Cruising & Aloha, Ron

Hey Chris - this was posted on the roll call - have you gotten an offer for an upgrade? Just think if you have a suite we can all come and have a party :)

3000, That could be the number of jealous onlookers who wish they were joining us.. or the number of demure married men who will be very board in the amore department with their cabin mates and wish they could have some quality man time on our side of the boat?? Either way.. They aren't very chatty.

AJ of course has looked at this over my shoulder a few times but honestly He's so busy playing pogo slot machines and playing smack down games of words with friends that he never bothers to do much else. I don't do Facebook so I have time to do this stuff... especially when I'm board at the office.

Jeroen, your daily routine sounds very relaxing. The elevator thing might be a little borderline "Rainman" but the rest of it sounds nice. LOL

Should we bring you a 12 pack of Duvel to make you feel at home on board?

On a sticker note. As Presidential politics heat up I am sooo glad we are going to miss 2 weeks of ridiculous chit chat leading up to November 6th! We are staying on till the 6th after the boat docks and I'm still trying to decide what we're going to do for the day. How would traffic be coming from Napa to SFO on a Tuesday for a 10:30 AM flight and what restaurants are open on Mondays? Hummmm, something else that I will ponder and AJ will not. It's a good thing he's cute.;)

You can have some very interesting non-conversations in elevators, LOL

Duvel? Nah, rather have the beer with the pink elephant :p

I was wondering about the elections, could be the topic of the day in certain circles... Those will be the circles we will be avoiding the most.

I agree - avoid the politics - we can avoid them together with a mojito together. It will be interesting to feel the political energy.

As for traffic - what time do you want to be at the airport - depending I will squeeze it to an hour - but what are you comfortable with? Depending on when you want to be there you might hit commute traffic which could slow you down - you would need to pad your travel time in case.

I'd say 90 minutes at the least from napa to the airport - if I were you I'd leave napa about six - that would get you pre-commute and would help you stay on schedule. You probably have a wait at the airport but better there than stuck in traffic.

And yeah - come on over to our side of the boat ;)

Pink Elephant Beer? Hummm... Serve some pink elephant in the spa steam room and we might get a bigger bunch of steam mates.

That's what I was thinking as a matter of fact. I'm not completely sold on it but we'll see. Maybe just a drive up to Bodega Bay and back and stay in Sausalito. I'll have to figure it out soon.

How are we going to keep the beer cold?

You can make Bodega and back in a day - so that would work for you - best to be off the ship early. You could also go south on the coast - Big Sur or something like that and then come back up and stay by the airport.

I love Big Sur and Monterey so that is another good idea.

I never thought about the cooler in the steam room - I bet that would actually work...

I didn't think of Monterey - that would be nice too although a little bit of a trek to get to the SF Airport - can you fly out of San Jose? That would be closer.

No we'd just go down there for the day and do the Airport thing like you suggested. It's a good idea. I wasn't that thrilled with the dribnking and driving idea... or worse... the NOT drinking and driving. AJ gets to have alll the wine and I have to taste and spit. I am not a spitter by nature.

Yeah - it sucks to have to spit. :o There are cars that will take you up to Napa (although it might be pricey) so that you don't have to spit if you wanted to do something like that.
