cruizn2escape Posted January 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Are there tables for 2 in the dining room on the Oasis or Allure? If so, how hard are they to get?

bravostar Posted January 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2012 We have always used the above email address for our request about three weeks before sailing and have always received a confirming reply.
yogimax Posted January 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Yes, use the email adress. Nothing worked for me before that. Of course, you can also do My Time Dining.
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted January 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Failing all else, you can always go to see the head maitre d' the afternoon that you board if you are unhappy with your table assignment. There will be a line of people wishing to make changes. Your table number will be on your seapasss, so go to the dining room and see where your table is and how big it is. If you don't care for what you find, seek out the maitre d'. He is usually stationed near the entrance of one of the levels of the main dining room. Our request for a table for two has been refused only once and that was a fully-booked ship.
liberiben Posted January 7, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2012 We requested a table for 2 when we made our reservation, and we got it...sort of. We were sat in the very back corner, one side was a long bench and the other side chairs and there were about 8 2 top tables crammed side by side, so "technically" we had a table for 2, but they were so close it felt awkward not talking to our neighbors. Thx for this as we will be sailing valentines weekend and I would rather just have an intimate dinner with the hubby only.
Booking It Posted January 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2012 We did MTD and got a table for two every night. They had lots of small tables along the railings. We never had a table that was close to the others, so it felt private. If you are on regular seating, you can try to switch to MTD. We walked in at peak times and were seated right away.
