I can understand why posters put their past cruises on their posts as it will help validate an answer to a question. What purpose does upcoming cruises serve?

Some people are just really, really excited about their upcoming cruises. Plus, perhaps it's some way to connect with others who are on their same cruise because a lot of new cruisers aren't aware of the Roll Calls board.

go into your signature and delete the expired ticker.
