momof3cruisers Posted January 16, 2012 #29 Share Posted January 16, 2012 Like others said its $99 per person over 12....You can book it online, like a regular excursion...but like regular excursions, can only book once paid in full for cruise I booked our excursions including a reg cabana before our final payment. Had to pay for them of course, but I wanted to get that taken care of anyway.
getawaynow Posted January 30, 2012 #30 Share Posted January 30, 2012 You bring your own music to use in the iPod doc they have for speakers. We did it with my In Laws two years ago. It was perfect. Our own music made it even better. The staff was amazing.

nybumpkin Posted February 15, 2012 #32 Share Posted February 15, 2012 we are thinking of booking this can someone tell me if there is a shuttle bus that can take you there. we have older folks that might not be able to walk the distance to the oasis thanks We weren't on the first tender, which is when they generally run the shuttles to the cabanas - but the oasis is a really short walk from the tender pier, so we didn't need it. We walked through the welcome center, made a left on the beach, and after about a 2 minute walk were at the oasis.
jbhcw Posted February 15, 2012 #33 Share Posted February 15, 2012 It really is not a long walk from the tender to the grand cabana, but if someone has mobility problems I Would let them know that when you get on the ship. Someone will be escorting your party to the cabana and could arrange for some help for your mobility challenged guests.

Threecharms Posted March 28, 2012 #35 Share Posted March 28, 2012 In the description of the Private Oasis, it says it begins at 8:00 a.m. and is for 5 hours. For all of you who have done this excursion, do they really kick you out at 1:00 p.m. or are you able to stay the afternoon? I called Carnival, but they were no assistance..... convertimia Posted May 2, 2012 #37 Share Posted May 2, 2012 i have it booked for May 2012, $1395 for the first 12 and then you have to go to the desk on the ship and pay $99 per person but the oasis only holds 24 people. i will have close to 24 in my group and being i paid the up front 1395 and divided it by 12. the first 12 had to pay $117 each and any of my other friends that want to get on will have to pay me the same once on board. only fair, i have had it booked for 3 months now and only 6 people have paid me so far. interest is adding up. We are sailing on May 12 on the ecsatsy and if you still have space available my friend and I would be interested in getting in on this. Let me know if you are on the May 12th Ecstasy and i would be willing to pay right away!
