debnjoe1438 Posted January 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2012 It's been a couple of years ago, however DH & I went cave tubing in Belize. It was a nice trip. We did not book through the ship, we went with Jaguar Paw.
Will in sunny FL Posted January 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2012 We visit Belize twice a year cruising & most times go with Coral Breeze Tours for one of the best snorkeling trips in the Caribbean witch also offers a local lunch on Caye Caulker. Look up their site for their info. Enjoy Balize. Bill in FL
Toyz711 Posted January 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2012 one of the best excursions we ever took...lamanai (mayan ruin). did the ncl tour, had the best tour guide...the bus was a little shabby..but everything else was wonderful. great mayan history, wonder boat ride (with crittter sightings). howler monkeys in the trees above the ruins. just a great day. elcuchio24 Posted January 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2012 We did a snorkle along the outter reef, then lunch and time in Ambergris Cay and drinks on the boat. Ship excursion that picked you right up from the ship so you didn't even have to tender into port. Great trip. That was on NCL, not sure if there is something similar offered on other lines. We went there with CCL also and couldn't find anything that went to Ambergris.

marshhawk Posted January 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Loved Goff's Caye, but Carnival doesn't do an excursion there anymore-hopefully it's to let the reef recover.
ram3010 Posted October 19, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Hi! Is the cave tubing in Belize fun? Does it get boring at all, or do the guides do a good job of keeping everyone entertained? We're going to Belize in December, and we're trying to decide what kind of excursion to book. Thanks!

JimAOk1945 Posted November 3, 2012 #11 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Last December, DW and I took a ship sponsored tour to the Lamanai Mayan Ruins. We were on Mariner of the Seas. It was a very long day but well worth it. However, on our way back, our tour bus was stuck in traffic, and we were 45min. late getting back to the ship. Had we been on a private tour, I'm not sure the ship would have waited for us. If you are interested, you can view my wife's pictures at this link to her website. http://nancysoasis.com/belize/belize.html
GypRasc Posted November 10, 2012 #12 Share Posted November 10, 2012 Hi! Is the cave tubing in Belize fun? Does it get boring at all, or do the guides do a good job of keeping everyone entertained? We had a great time but if you're an adventurer that likes rapids rather than slow moving water you may get a little bored. I'm an adventurer & would have loved to have had a little white water mixed in but because we went with Viv Tours & their tubes had head rests it made it much more comfortable & worth it. I say this because we tubed in Hawaii & the tubes were not nearly as comfortable so my back & neck were hurting by the end of the trip. Since I was part of a group of 16 we're always able to have a great time no matter what we do.:)
