Is this enough time to get back on ship?

We are thinking of booking with Serenity tours for a private land and then catamaran back to ship trip including lunch at Ladera. They said that the absolute latest that we will be back is 4:15pm. My itinerary from Celebrity says that we are in dock until 5pm. Do you know what time we are required to be back on the ship? This is our first cruise and I don't want to worrry that we are going to not make it back all day!

on every cruise we've ever been on - more than 20 - we have always had to be back on board 30 minutes before sailing. So - if sailaway is 5, you should be back onboard by 4:30. so - the tour would leave enough time. The tour companies are well aware of sailaway times and boarding times and don't want you to miss your ship any more than you do! They will have you back in time.

Hi Reedprincess, I have just booked a 2 tank scuba with Steve's scuba St Lucia in two weeks time, you seem to know the island, we are newbies, if we dock at 8.00 how long should it take us to get of the ship, we are being met on the dock and not having ever cruised don't know what the disembark procedures are (we will back at 2 p.m. so lots of time to get back!) also do you know which dock Celebrity is likely to use, Serephine or Carenage, if size matters we are on the Summit!

Thanks!
