Cabin occupancy on river ships

New Hampshire

Recommended Posts

Perhaps in one of the newer ships that have larger suites you could accomodate 3. Generally in regular sized cabins it would not be possible. The cabins are generally a queen size bed with very little access around them. I'm not even sure that some of the cruise lines would allow you to have 3 in a room.

Can the cabins on river ships accommodate three adults?

Our Russian River cruise ship cabin would not house three, but I think some river cruise ships have triple rooms.

You would need to check with each company.

We were on the Tolstoy on our Russian cruise..

As far as I have researched most ships can accomodate 2 persons. Companies rather prefer to advertise with "single cabins" instead. But there are some ships, that have adjoining cabins (you can go from Cabin A to B without using the public area).

Have a look at:

Viking Danube

Viking Fontane

Viking Schmann

Viking Sky

There might be a some other ships around which have private connecting doors, can tell you that next month after research in the national library ;)
