Tipping at Palo??

Thanks. That helps. I was wondering because I was reading an article and it said that most people dont because you are already paying for a higher price for the food and that it was included in the price. But I feel unless the service is bad that 20.00 is not really that much for the service or the food and you should tip. Thanks for the advice.

We looked at it as if we were at a similar restaurant for a similar meal at home and what we would leave.

We had three in our party at Palo on our recent cruise and left $30 at dinner--brunch would have been the same. We also slipped the sommelier $10 in cash.

At Remy we left $50 for two plus a cash tip to the sommelier.

The waitstaff on the DCL ships get a very small amount of the service charge--probably works out to about the same as the waitstaff in the MDR's for the suggested tips. However they provide a far superior level of service and should be rewarded accordingly.
