thanks, kirk- that is exactly why i was wondering about it. I didn't know if it would be similar to hmc or just a regular port. Now I know! We will take cash for the bar and shops. thanks again.

Sail and sign card is only good on the ship, no matter the port or who

built it. Have seen this many times, last year in Roatan we were at a local grocery store 10 miles from the port and a lady was arguing with the cashier that she was told her S&S was good there, was comical.

Just so you don't post any more wrong info...yes you do use your sign and sail at half moon cay it's a port and yes carnival built it!!

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought OP had a legitimate question. I had wondered that myself as I knew HMC was sail and sign. We've rented a cabana at M'ville and didn't know if we'd use our CC or SS. Remember, no question is a dumb question.

Even the bars on the beach at Mahogany Bay CC won't take an S&S card.

But just a heads up...when we were there last April the bar staff would only let you use your credit card if you had PHOTO ID with you-ie. drivers license.
