The carribbean in December

We will be sailing in december for the 1st time. I am wondering what type of clothing to pack. Is it usually pretty cold in the carribbean? We are going to st thomas, antigua, tortola and nassau.

No, it's not cold. We just did the W Carribean this past Dec. It wasn't hot either. 75- 85 degrees I think. Cool on deck at night-light jacket. Daytime in port- shorts, capris. We loved cruising in early Dec, will try early Nov this year. It should be warmer the further South you are.

You might hit cooler temps in Nassau, but we had 85 degrees in St. Thomas, etc. this past Christmas cruise.

Bring a jacket or sweatshirt in case you find the ships A/C too cold.

We always cruise in December and that is because it is always beautiful and warm.

It can get cool down there in the winter if a big "Noreaster" blows down that way. Cool as in high 60's low 70's. Several years ago on live aboard dive trip a cold from Canada blew down that way, causing higher than normal winds, cancled the majority of dives for the trip. So we just sat on the boat getting plastered.:D
