Room upgrades on RCCL

I have cruised 9 times on RCCL and never had an upgrade once. Is it because I always book a balcony room? I am new to this cruise critic site and appreciate everyones help. Will be heading out this Sunday for a 2 week back to back on Adventue of the Seas. Hope it's a fun trip!

Welcome to cruise critic...........I have sailed RC 16 times and never gotten an upgrade and we are Diamond Plus.........it is something they rarely do, although I have heard of people who have gotten an upgrade but it is rare.

 

You might want to check the Royal Caribbean boards and post your question there and see if others have gotten upgrades.

I've done 67 cruises and have gotten an upgrade ONCE. Upgrades just don't happen much anymore.
