Back Bay Hilton in Boston

Big fire today right next door -- possibly also at the Hilton.. now the power is out in Back Bay. I know some folks stay here pre or post cruise... so you may want to give Hilton (the national number, not the Back Bay number, obviously) a call and ask what the status might be. They may not know for a while, but it might be a good idea to have a back-up plan!

looks like power is still out, a couple other hotels are on generators and another property set up cots for hilton guests...

Wow is everyone okay? We always stayed there when visiting our dd at BU. Where next door? The church or the restaurant?

There is a transformer substation in the building next to the garage. Thankfully, the Hilton is fine. However, that immediate area is still without power (as of 2 hours ago as I drove through there).
