I am assuming that your ship is docked at the freeport terminal and if that is the case then you have 3 ways to do it.

Take the train to Østerport and then a S-train to Nordhavn Station where you can walk to the pier,

Take a taxi from Østerport to the pier.

And if you are coming in on a regular weekday (not weekends and public holidays) then you can take Bus number 26 from Østerport towards Færgehavn Nord and get of at kalkbrænderihavnsgade just outside the gates to the freeport terminal.

Here is a map showing Østerport station with the 2 !!!! bus stops of bus number 26.

Trains from the airport arrives at track 1 and 2 and the S-train to Nordhavn station departs at track 5.

The price is 36 DKK for a single ticket and 2 kids under 12 travels for free and childrens under 16 for the half price.

I am looking at the options as well. The 36 DKK is per adult for the train, correct?

What would be the bus fare and the taxi fare, please. We would be going on a weekday, so the #26 bus sounds interesting. Does the bus have a restriction on bringing luggage aboard?

We used Danish Viking's excellent advice last August. :)

We saved quite a bit of money in the process.

We arrived CPH very early in the morning. Needed to get to Freeport by 4:00 p.m. Wanted to spend some time in Copenhagen, so...

First, we purchased a Klippekort (can be used by more than one person) at the airport since we would be taking the metro in CPH and using the train on the return to the airport. Info below on klippekort:

We took the train from CPH airport to Central Station (København H) which is directly across from Tivoli. We stored our luggage at the train station (guarded storage rooom ... easy to find...from track 11/12, follow the signs down the stairs and turn left ... or use the elevator on your left).

We then took the metro over to Nyhavn for a canal cruise & a nice lunch.

We returned to Central station via metro, picked-up our luggage & then took the S train to Nordhavn. Easy walk from Nordhavn to the pier (about 10 mins). You can walk the route from Nordhavn to your pier using the street view on google maps. :)

Just a note...the Danes are just wonderful people. They were very courteous and helpful to us in answering our queries.

Just reverse when returning.

Hope this helps.
