Cruising during Thanksgiving week

We have cruised the last two T-givings and it is really no different than anytime else.

There is alot of familys and the weather is always great.

We only do it because our kids school gets the entire week off and it is less expensive than Xmas & New Years.

It is always nice to say you are in Belize or Cozumel on the Thanksgiving day...

Cruising is great over Thanksgiving... more families than before and after due to school breaks (but less walkers and scooters). :)

Just keep in mind, if you have to fly... the most expensive time to fly in the US is the Sunday after. In fact I was just checking today for flights on or about thanksgiving and they are 3X higher (for me) on the Sunday after thanksgiving than the week before or after.

We sailed this past Thanksgiving for two weeks on Nieuw Amsterdam and it was wonderful. We really enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Turkey dinner was so much better than we ever expected it to be. Our steward saw to it we got servings just the way we like it. :)
