Can anyone compare Valor to Dream?

We have been on both. Very little difference except the Dream is alittle bigger, with more water works stuff and no tiered Lido deck. Dream has the Lanai, which was nice with the cantilevered hot tubs (never used them). The aft pool area is more open on the Dream, which was nice. Basically, the same and you will have a great time!

I guess we are just wondering most if Dream is a good choice after Valor?

I have sailed on the Valor and the Dream and loved them both, but if I had to choose, I would say the Dream was better for several reasons.

Dream has a better aft pool area because it is opened up and you can see the water without anything blocking your view.

I loved that there is an outside deck on the Dream that goes around the ship at the Promenade level.

We had a balcony room on the Empress deck on the Dream and it looked out on the lanai deck, which I enjoyed, although there was not any privacy because people could see you on your balcony. Next time I want to try a cove balcony.

Enjoy your cruise!

I enjoyed Dream very much, but Valor remains my favorite so far. I just really like the Americana and historical themes in the decor on Valor. And Dream seemed to be just a little more crowded at times.

I'm not into the pools, spa or gym, Serenity, bars, casino, or games, so I have nothing of value to say about those comparisons. Dream's Dancin' in the Streets show is pretty spectacular -- not entirely my cup of tea, but my tastes don't mesh with most people. The crowd loved it and many seem to feel it is one of Carnival's best shows. I did not notice any significant difference on either ship regarding food, the crew, or the general atmosphere -- that is to say, both were great in my opinion.

Of course, I'd go on either ship again in a heartbeat.
