sg1phileshipper Posted May 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2012 If it's cans of pop, my bet is they will all make it through. :D Have a wonderful cruise Cindy
TBone2K Posted May 3, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Hope it works out. However, everyone needs to keep in mind the policy. Success in this case (or six pack even :p) does not mean everyone will have the same results.

ryano Posted May 3, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2012 12 Coke Zero's were carried on in my backpack onto the Freedom of the Seas last week with no problem whatsoever. I doubt there will be a problem. They are mainly looking for alcohol.

Puffinater Posted May 3, 2012 #9 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Not much of a test I would say 99.999999% of all soda makes it onboard.

If we find out later that is was regular Coke, or worse Pepsi, it's to the gallows for you. Any chance PCPD/CBP/FBI/CIA/DHS/CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC/TIME/ were all otherwise occupied when your luggage was scanned??? Maybe this whole thing by the "high risk" couple was a coordinated diversion.:D
endymion6942 Posted May 3, 2012 #12 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I will be bringing a 12 pack of diet Mountain Dew on the Monarch at the end of the month. And a 12 pack also on the FOS in June.

aj3u Posted May 4, 2012 #15 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I'm pretty sure you could put all that Pop in plain view on the xray belt and it wouldn't be a problem getting it through. :D. If it were Budweiser, that would be a different story.
Cruiser0721 Posted May 4, 2012 #16 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I got stopped boarding the Oasis with a 9-pack of water, still in the shrink-wrap, in my carry-on. After calling over the supervisor to inspect it, I was allowed to take it on board - however, they made me feel like a thief!
