Purchase of flowers on ship vs. pre-purchase

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to purchase a boquet of flowers for my mother who will be celebrating her 70th birthday while on board FOS next month. My question is, does anyone know how selection and price compare on board vs what's available in purchase from Gifts and Gear through RCL? Thanks!

Is it OK to bring flowers on board (when boarding)?? Do all ships have a flower cart?

I do not know if all ship's have a flower cart, but I know I have carried on flowers multiple times...no problems so far. in fact, I just posted on another thread on another cruise line board...http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1627351

One of our cruise rituals is a quick stop to the flower cart. I generally receive a lovely rose bud vase. My husband rarely sees anyone else buying flowers and always wonders why the flower cart doesn’t do more business. There is generally a nice selection.
