Silver Spirit Cocktail

Recommended Posts

Just a head's up to anyone aboard The Voyager right now who is also a Silversea fan: bartenders in Horizon have the recipe for the Silver Spirit martini and make a mean one!

Enjoy!

Thanks so much. That is good to know as I love that martini!:D

Tell me more. What's the difference between Silver Spirit martini and a regular martini? (That sounds like the start of a joke!)

Tom,

Pls see this Silverspirit blog entry; vid shows a Silver Spirit being mixed.

http://blog.silversea.com/post/2010/05/06/CLASSY-COCKTAILS-e280a6-AND-THEYRE-INCLUDED.aspx

Ingredients:

SILVER SPIRIT SIGNATURE COCKTAIL

2 oz Plymouth gin

2 oz St Germain elderflower liqueur

1.5 oz New Zealand sauvignon blanc

1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake until very chilled; serve straight up in martini glass with wedge of lime.

We'll be on the Cloud this November (crossing) and give it a try.

Darn...... now you spoiled the intrigue! Actually, I do not care for the Silver Spirit ship - too plastic for our tastes. However, we love the Whisper and Shadow. I applaud the bartenders in the Horizon Lounge for having the receipe:)

Thanks, Wes. I don't care for "regular" Martini cocktails, either shaken or stirred, but I quite fancy a glass of that recipe. Might ask for one in 4 weeks time.

A chacun son gout. I'm a classic dry gin martini drinker, with only a twist.
