1st off .. Happy B-Day to your wife!

 

My 50th will also be celebrated in 2 weeks on the Splendor. With 11 other family members going to "help" me celebrate I shudder to think what they will say to me!! :eek:

 

But my favorites are:

 

Nice: 50 is the new 30

Mean: You aren't over the hill yet. But you are high enough for nose bleeds!

 

Also I prefer to say I will be 21 with 29 years of experience...not 50

As I am approaching 50 myself (November), I still love the line one of the old time comics said .

 

"The day I turned 50 I still felt like a 21 yr old, so I went down to the bar and picked one up." :)

I just celebrated my 55- everyone kept saying double nickel. But for 50, I'd say something like "some things are better w/ age like wine, cheese, & you of course."
