Jewel of the Seas question

Recommended Posts

Hi i was on the Radiance back in 2003 so dont remember much bout the class of ships.

Just wondering is the late night snack place still at the Solarium for pizza?

How is she holding up?

We are looking at the 5 day in Feb out of tampa...is the crowd fun and lively?

Im assuming no Johnny Rockets, correct?

Is the night club in the Viking Lounge?

Where do Diamond members go to drink for free from 5 - 830?

yes it is! several kinds to choose from.

How is she holding up?

wonderfully. I think it is a beautiful ship

I guess the crowd is different for every sailing, but when we were on her in Nov, the crowd was wonderful. Met some great people from Cruise Critic meet and mingle, and our dining table mates made up a Quest team. We came in 2nd and had a blast! :D

unfortunately you are correct :(

there is one in there, plus a few others. Went to several events in the Safari Lounge which is beside the Schooner.

Not sure on that one because i'm not diamond (yet!). Hopefully someone else can jump in with that answer!

The ship was beautiful. As for the solarium, pizza no, but cardboard with pizza like topics yes. ;) Mostly kidding. While most will tell you the pizza at their favorite place back home is much better, I've always found the pizza to be good enough for a late night snack. That was until Jewel. And maybe they had a bad week? I say that and if you look back in my posts around the last 2 weeks of April, I overall said the food was excellent on Jewel that week.

No charge for the Seaview Cafe. They open for lunch at noon till 3:00?. Then it is open for late night food. Very good sandwiches and soups. Very good brownies.

Agree completely, was only disappointed in the pizza that one week. I'll plan on trying again in the future.
