We also have a Canon 7d, which is great too, but the 5d just blows it away half the time, especially when shooting video.

A DSLR camera, tripod/stabilizer, an intervalometer, a little research and a lot of practice! ;) Go for it!! :D I have a Canon G12. It's know for having many DSLR features in a point & shoot camera body. Could work, maybe? I've only had it a few months and still have a lot to learn about it. RWolver672 Posted May 23, 2012 #49 Share Posted May 23, 2012 That was fantastic. What kind of camera was used? I have a gopro camera that I am thinking about taking with me and may try a few time lapses. This was posted under the video. "All time-lapses shot with a Canon 5d Mark II and 16-35mm f/2.8."
