ducklite Posted May 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2012 We're off fairly early in the morning, is there at least a light breakfast? Is room service available? Getting close and very excited!

Traval Posted May 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Ducklite----I see you are on a cruise from Sydney to Auckland in the future. Are you planning on touring NZ after your arrival? We love NZ and are hoping to be back for our third visit at the end of 2013.
ducklite Posted May 24, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Thanks for the info Taval. We are giving serious thought to that cruise and would spend a few days before and after the cruise in the respective countries. We'd probably make it a three week trip with a travel day on either side. We're going to London and maybe Glasgow for a couple weeks next year, but that's land based. :)
Traval Posted May 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I like planning ahead too. I strongly recommend spending a few days in NZ.It's one of our favourite places and I am already starting to think about our trip end of next year. We'll be celebrating our Ruby wedding there. I hope you enjoy your Windsurf cruise. We are looking forward to trying one of the smaller ships.Off in 6 weeks time! Val

SB_Travlr Posted May 28, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2012 I have a fond memory of breakfast in the Veranda restaurant when we docked in Athens, next to a Star Clipper ship. It was lovely to sit there in the sunshine and think about the great trip we'd just had from Istanbul.
